Ingredients:
- 1 pint of cooked blacked beans or 1 can of black beans
- 1 pint of water
- half a large onion, or a whole small onion
- some amount of peppers (1/2 cup if using frozen bell peppers, less if jalapeno, or fresh peppers, requires judgement)
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Salt
Steps:
- Sweat the onion and peppers over medium low heat with ~1tsp of salt until the onion is transluscent
- Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute
- Add the beans and water, bring to a boil, and reduce to a simmer until the liquid has mostly evaporated. tast occasionally and add more salt if needed (hard to say since it's reducing, but maybe 1/2-1 tsp more? probably depends on salt in beans)
