Steps:

  1. Brown ground beef + 1/2 tsp salt over medium high heat, remove.
  2. add 1/4 cup water + mushrooms to the pan, cook until nearly all the water is gone with ~1/2 tsp salt
  3. add onions and sweat onion over medium low heat with 1/4 tsp salt
  4. add spices and ground beef and cook for 1 minute
  5. add corn starch, cabbage, pasta, better than boullion, cashew cream and water stir to combine
  6. bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and cook uncovered until the pasta is done. Add more water if needed (uncovered is definitely better than covered).

Notes:

For farfale pasta I had to add an extra 250 ml of water, and it took like 25 minutes to cook the pasta. Macaroni would probably be better.
