Ingredients:
- 4 TBSP maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- pinch of ground thai chillis
- 1 TBSP avocado oil
- 1.75 oz pop corn kernels
Steps:
- preheat oven to 250 F
- grind salt and chillis in mortar and pestle
- pop the popcorn pour onto parchment lined baking sheet remove unpopped kernels
- combine the syrup oil salt and chillis in a microwave safe bowl and heat until the syrup starts to boil (20 seconds)
- pour the syrup over the popcorn and mix well
- put baking sheet in oven for 15-20 minutes till dried out and the desired texture
Notes:
as a treat its good. thats a lot of sugar from the syrup. it reminded me of sugar cereal which is kinda neat.
